The fourth and final Trample the Trails race is almost here! We are excited to cap off the series on a high note. Here is the race day itinerary:
Saturday the 5th
6:30AM – 8:00AM Packet Pickup at Token Creek Park (Shelter #1)
6:30AM – 7:45AM Race day registration
8:00AM 10K participants start
8:05AM 5K participants start
Age Group and Overall Awards can be picked up right away at the race. Due to the smaller size of our first race, we will be doing Age Groups 2 places deep. Age groups will be ten year ranges (e.g. 10-19, 20-29, etc.).
Series Finishers: If you crossed the finish line at all four events, you will have a finisher’s award available for pickup (this year’s finisher award is a beanie hat)!
There will be food and family friendly drinks to enjoy post race so please help yourself. If your family would like some of the food, please be mindful that every racer after you should be able to enjoy some food as well. After athletes are done, it is fair game!
Any updates will be posted on Facebook and the website
Parking is available around the shelter and across the street as shown on the map linked above
Directions to the park are on website
There will be one aid station on the course which will have water and electrolyte drink.
The course map will be posted on the website by end of the day Tuesday.
Course markings: There will be orange flags marking the course roughly every .2 miles. A picture of the flags is on the website as well.
Be courteous on the trails! Right of way always goes to the runners closer to the finish line, but when in doubt be kind.
Lastly, appreciate the volunteers and our great sponsors. Without them, this wouldn’t have been possible. I really want to thank Endurance House Middleton and Endurance House Madison for all of their help in making this happen!
As always, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!
The swag for Pheasant Branch are custom mason jars with handles. The first 130 participants will have the mason jars at the race. If you are not one of the lucky first 130, a reorder will be made and the jars can be picked up at Endurance House Middleton. Look forward to seeing everyone there!
We wanted to let everyone know Trample the Trails will be donating a portion of everyone’s registration to Friends of WI Parks. With the likelihood of state parks losing their funding, we hope to provide what help we can.
